They are neutral until they accumulate a group of three couples. Then the top couple becomes active.<br \/>\nTwo couples at the bottom can dance with a phantom third couple if they wish.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; font-weight: bold;\">Description:<\/span><br \/>\n&nbsp; &nbsp; 1-8 &nbsp; Actives turn up and out to go down the outside below two inactive couples and come into the center of the set.<br \/>\n&nbsp; 9-16 &nbsp; They pass right shoulders with each other as they cross the set and go out on the other side. They proceed up the outside of the set passing one couple and step into the long lines.<br \/>\n17-24 &nbsp; Each active dancer joins hands with the dancers on each side and those three walk Forward and Back.<br \/>\n25-32 &nbsp; The actives turn their partner by the right 3\/4 around and end facing each other up or down. Meanwhile the inactives turn to face up or down to make facing lines of three across the set. <\/p>\n<p>33-40 &nbsp; Lines of three, go Forward and Back.<br \/>\n41-48 &nbsp; The actives turn their partner by the right 3\/4 around as the inactives face across.<br \/>\n49-56 &nbsp; The actives dance with the couple above them and do a Right and Left Thru.<br \/>\n57-64 &nbsp; The same four do a Right and Left Back. <\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Choreography:<\/span>  This is a variation on the traditional triple proper contra &#8220;Market Lass&#8221;.
