Description:<\/span>
\n    <\/span>1-8   Head couples Promenade halfway around the outside of the set. To reduce the distance around the outside, the other couples move to the center and then back out when the Heads have gone by.
\n  <\/span>9-16   The Heads come into the middle and do a Right and Left Thru across the set to the man’s home position.
\n17-24   Side couples Promenade halfway around the outside of the set.
\n25-32   The Sides come into the middle and do a Right and Left Thru across the set to the man’s home position. <\/p>\n

33-40   All four Ladies Chain across the set.
\n41-48   All four Ladies Chain one quarter of the way around the set, which is just one position. The first time through, each man will Courtesy Turn his original corner.
\n49-64   All four couples Promenade once around. <\/p>\n

Note:<\/span> The recommended music is smooth, but written in 2\/4 time. This will necessitate that the dancers use small steps and dance in a tight square. <\/p>\n

\nUsage:<\/span> This quadrille has a corner progression and is 64 beats in length. It could be prompted as a quadrille or used as the figure in a singing call. It can be adapted to a patter routine by replacing the final Promenade with “Ladies Rollaway”, which returns everyone to their home spot.<\/p>\n
