Description of Simple Variation:
1-2 Dancers touch their right heel forward, then bring it back and step on their right foot beside their left.
3-4 Dancers touch their left heel forward, then bring it back and step on their left foot beside their right.
5-8 Walk forward three steps (R, L, R) turning right face one quarter on the third step, then step on the left foot beside the right.

Description:
1-2 Dancers touch their right heel forward, then bring it back and step on their right foot beside their left.
3-4 Dancers touch their left heel forward, then bring it back and step on their left foot beside their right.
5-8 Turning one quarter left face, step to the right on the right, step behind on the left, step to the right on the right pivoting one half right face turn, step on the left in place beside the right.

Usage: The simple variation is appropriate for Beginning Dancers. The original dance requires some coordination to maintain balance and orientation during the two turns in the vine.
