Description:
1-8   Active dancers DoSaDo with their partner.
9-16   Same pairs Swing and end facing down the set with the lady on the right side of the gent and both active dancers between the couple below.
17-24   The line of four walk away from the caller six steps and then each dancer turns around alone in two steps.
25-32   The line walks back to its original position and then the couples in each half of the line turn as a unit to face each other.

33-40   Two Ladies Chain across to the opposite man (their original partner).
41-48   Same two couples Right and Left Thru (right pull by and Courtesy Turn).
49-56   Same couples Star Right for six steps. On the last two beats the ladies slide across (Sashay) nose to nose as the gents turn around to make a four hand Left-Hand Star.
57-64   Star Left once around to home position in six steps and face across the set on the final two steps. Progression has been made.

Progression: When a couple has no one to dance with, they are neutral for one sequence.
During this time they exchange places with each other (crossover), remember that their role is changing, and wait for the beginning of the next sequence. At the top Inactives become Active, at the bottom Actives become Inactive.

Shacklette), Printed in CDP Journal, May 2001
Usage: This dance is designed for contra dancers with some dance experience. The interesting small gimmick here is the Ladies Slide Across while the men turn back to change from a Right to a Left-Hand Star. This nice gimmick is simple, effective, quick to teach and different.
Note: To simplify a bit, replace “Actives Dosado” with “Long Lines Forward and Back”.
